Counselling for all UG seats completed

The counselling for admissions to all the undergraduate courses has been completed.The government conducted two rounds of counselling and one extended round of counselling, the seat allotment for which was completed on Wednesday.

There are 9,897 engineering seats remaining at the end of the extended round of counselling.

According to KEA officials, the remaining engineering seats will again be offered to candidates who have cleared the PU supplementary exam, results of which were announced on Thursday.

These candidates will be assigned ranks based on their supplementary exam scores and the seats will be allotted to them. However, this allotment is open to engineering only.

That apart, there are 56 architecture seats, 129 pharmacy seats and 258 pharmacy seats through lateral entry that have not been filled.

The total seats on offer this time were 2,350 medical seats, 914 dental seats, 65,685 engineering seats, 732 architecture seats, 2,616 farm courses seats, 1185 pharmacy seats, 274 pharmacy through lateral entry seats. 

In this round, however, students will not have any choice to exercise for seats. Candidates who are allotted the seats will have to pay the fees and report to colleges on or before July 28.
