RDT lifts Randhawa title

RDT Inclusive High School, Anantapur posted a comprehensive 4-0 victory over YMCA, Chennai to lift the Rotary, Indiranagar- GS Randhawa memorial inter-school hockey tournament on Saturday.
RDT Inclusive High School, Anantapur posted a comprehensive 4-0 victory over YMCA, Chennai to lift the Rotary, Indiranagar- GS Randhawa memorial inter-school hockey tournament on Saturday.

Saikiran gave the all important lead for RDT Inclusive in the 15th minute and Srikanth netted another goal in the 20th minute to make the score 2-0.

Chinnaiah RC increased the margin with a goal in the 33rd minute as RDT went up 3-0. Continuing their dominance, Siva B made the scoreline a formidable 4-0 as he hit the target in the 46th minute.

Mohd Huzaifa of Govt High School, Ponnampet bagged the Best player of the tournament award whereas Achaiah US of Karmaiah Academy, South Coorg was adjudged as the Best goalkeeper. The Fair Play Trophy was given away to St John’s High School, Bangalore.
