He is an engineer and an MBA who started his career with giants like Tata Motors but soon realised his real passion which made him quit his job to start a new venture in life. Thinking out of the box, Rahul Jain started Business Coaching India, a firm giving ‘business coaching’ to business owners, entrepreneurs or directors.

Jain, the founder and CEO of Business Coaching India, in the last ten years has coached more than 300 business owners in the SME space across various verticals like manufacturing, IT, distribution, retail, hospitality, biotechnology, import and exports, event management and other service providers.

“We focus on two things – running business operations by working only one day a week and secondly, creating a sales engine which doubles the profit in six months. We take accounts of the companies’ structure, their human resource department, operations, sales, marketing, branding, finance...everything, and then give them coaching on how to improvise these sections and their businesses,” said Jain.

“We are sure that at the end of the workshops, the business owners or directors have a clear understanding and a detailed action plan on how to run their business operations. If the plans don’t work for them, we also refund their entire money in case they do not find value in the workshop,” added Jain.

Jain has a wide range of experience in diverse industries and products starting from training, manufacturing, insurance, distribution and retail channels to personally building up and coaching the largest direct sales network of over 10,000 people from scratch in a direct marketing organisation.

Typically most business owners want to grow their business, and although they have a sense of what to do and in some cases how to do it, they are still not able to implement it and sustain it. But, at the end of the workshops, the participants have a clear understanding and a clearly defined action plan to achieve their desired results.

Further talking to Metrolife, the coach, said, “I also get business owners who are in bad situations and come to me for help. Actually such situations are common. Along with taking workshops, I also take personal coaching of the business owners.”

The 44-year-old tells Metrolife, “A lot of young people nowadays are willing to take risks in life by starting new businesses. They come up with new ideas and I just guide and mentor them and also always try and make my sessions interactive for the business owner who come to take
part in my workshops.”
