Party-goers were in for a treat as the gods of electronic dance music, Axwell and Ingrosso, set the stage on fire at Supernova Arena on Thursday.

Organised as part of ‘Sunburn Arena’, trippy lights and roof-shattering music defined the concert. However, the rains played spoilsport and gave the fans a tough time.

The duo with their new style of music promised to redefine EDM and go beyond traditional sounds and experiences to create music that is forward looking, innovative and boundless. And that is what they did. It was also chance for the fans to enjoys super compilations like ‘We Came, We Rave, We Love’, ‘On My Way’ and other high-octane numbers which are EDM super hits. The magical atmosphere was enlivened with pyro effects, SFX, exquisite stage views and a larger-than-ever Sunburn experience as they kept the audience grooving for their popular number ‘Don’t You Worry’. 

The duo, meanwhile, said Bangalore has been amazing. Axwell had visited India a lot more times than Ingrosso. Axwell said, “We like the energy and the vibes here and like to come here for an energy dose.” Ingrosso admitted his love for the movie Devdas and said that he has watched it several times. The duo had recently signed Universal Music Group’s Def Jam Recordings with a debut studio album planned for release in 2015.
