A park complete with playing equipment was inaugurated on Sunday at Canara Bank Colony, Maruthi Mandir Ward, Vijayanagar, much to the delight of children of the locality.
The main attraction at the park is the statue of Mahatma Gandhi.
Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) officials said that the park, spread across 2.5 acres, was developed at the cost of Rs 3.5 crore.
