BJP to picket CM's home office tomorrow

The City unit of the BJP is planning to picket the home office of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah ‘Krishna’ in Bengaluru on Wednesday to protest against the abrupt transfer of Lokayukta SP B A Mahesh, who had recently raided the premises of Congress MLA Munirathna.

Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru, BJP co-spokesperson and MLC Ashwathnarayana said during the raid as many 1,000 Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) files had been found at the house of the MLA.  The SP was now being targeted for conducting the raid, he said.

BJP functionaries will hold a meeting at the Freedom Park on Wednesday and later take out a procession to Krishna demanding that the officer be reinstated in the Lokayukta office, Ashwathnarayana said.
