Two unidentified men on a motorcycle snatched a woman’s gold chain near the crowded Nettakallappa Circle in Basavanagudi on Saturday, the police said.
Kavitha, who works at a private company, was walking home around 8 pm when the bike moved along and one of the men snatched her 15-gram gold chain.
Presence of mind
But she managed to make a mental note of the bike’s registration number. Later, the police traced the two-wheeler to Kodigehalli and are tracking its owner.
