Panchatatva a magical concert tour

Delhi music lovers were mesmerised by a spectacular combination of specially designed animation and visual effects along with soundscapes, and shlokas – with carefully designed musicl performances by a galaxy of Indian music superstars at Siri Fort auditorium recently.

For the first time ever, artistes like Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Ustad Rashid Khan, Selva Ganesh, Taufiq Qureshi, Rattan Mohan Sharma, Sridhar Parthasarathy, Ramkumar Mishra, Subhankar Banerjee, Ankita Joshi, and others featured together in an electrifying evening of classicial music performances.

Conceived by Durga Jasraj and produced by Art And Artistes (I) Pvt. Ltd., and presented by the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, along with the Aditya Birla Group and endorsed by the United Nations (UNIC). ‘Panchtatva’, a magical concert depicted five elements of Nature, “Aakash (space), Vaayu (wind), Agni (fire), Jal (water) and Prithvi (earth)”.

Commenting on the success of the show, Durga Jasraj and Neeraj Jaitly of Art And Artistes said, “While we were confident about the concept and content of this unique music property, we were genuinely overwhelmed by the audience response to the very first edition of this five-city tour (Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Delhi). We are especially pleased with the results of effectively using mass mediums like FM radio, social media, print ad campaign to present India Music in a contemporary yet pure form."
