Last updated: 24 January, 2010

Kaavya Nag, daughter of actor and theatre personality Arundhati Nag and late Shankar Nag, entered marital bliss with her school sweetheart Salil in a private ceremony held at Manipal County.

The wedding had a star-studded attendance with around 600 guests. Personalities from film, theatre, art and business came in to give their blessings. Those spotted at the ceremony were Srinath, Ananth Nag, Ramesh Aravind, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Sumalatha Ambareesh, Jai Jagadeesh and Girish Karnad to name a few. The cast and crew of Malgudi Days were also there.

The lunch was a vegetarian fare, served on banana platter.
Kaavya works for an NGO and Salil is a corporate lawyer. Both will be off to England soon where Salil is said to pursue his studies to become a barrister. Here’s wishing the couple a happy married life.
