CM hails Mudaliars

Bangalore, Jan 24, DHNS:

Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa on Sunday promised financial assistance to the Mudaliar Seva Sangha for academic and cultural development.


Speaking at the golden jubilee celebration of the Mudaliar Seva Sangha, Yeddyurappa said the Mudaliar community has integrated with the local Kannada populace and served in the betterment of the state. He hailed them for their contribution in economic growth of Bangalore.

Recalling music director Vijay Bhaskar and producer N Veeraswamy, the CM said, Mudaliar community’s contribution in Kannada film industry is great. MP P C Mohan said that the association could get a grant  of Rs 15 lakh.
