JDB TRIO, the band of international artistes will be performing in the city in the coming weekend. With complementary instrumental voices balancing with their mix of original compositions and folk tunes, Derek Beckvold, Bob Jordon and  Jayant Manchanda will bring together many styles of music into a cohesive and energetic sound.

Inspired by legends like Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, and Dave Brubeck, the trio is known to draw influences from jazz, Latin, African, Indian and experimental music.
Having performed in the city before, JDB Trio is now all set to enthral Delhiites with In Your Own Sweet Way, one of their landmark compositions by Dave Brubeck.

Speaking of their excellence and experience over the years, saxophonist, Beckvold has performed a wide range of music across North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East and has taught music extensively in the United States. He has also worked with the organisation Musicians Without Borders in Palestine, American
Voices in Sudan and Humanitarian Bazaar.

Drummer Jordon, on the other hand, originally hails from New Jersey, where he began by playing drums in punk rock bands. With degrees in jazz from McGill University and the New England Conservatory, he is active in a wide variety of musical contexts as a sideman, a leader, and an avid educator who taught in the United States and at the Afghanistan National Institute of Music in Kabul.

Last, but not the least, bassist Manchanda is one of the first call bass players in the live session circuit. He teaches at leading music schools such as the Global Music Institute and One World College of Music.

So all you jazz lovers out there, brace yourselves for a musical evening beyond your expectations. JDB TRIO is coming your way!

They will perform at QLA : The Kila, on 12 July 2015 at 7pm.
