Lifestyle’s latest Spring Summer 2015 collection is diverse in terms of design, colour and material. It consists of soothing fabrics of cotton, linen, soft denims and georgette in pastel and ‘summery’ hues like white, navy, fuchsia and denim blues. From casual apparel to pret-a-porter wear, the brand has it all to capture the essence and feel of summer.

Unity in diversity

As far as the Western collection is concerned, women can opt for resort wear in vibrant colours and tropical prints along with dresses and playful, geometrical patterns on peppy palazzos.

With bold woodblock prints and matte weaves, men are spoilt for choice. The men’s collection also has printed T-shirts and shorts in earthy, natural tones or even vibrant pop colours for a casual look. The formal range is crafted in soft and smooth fabrics designed to escalate the comfort of work wear.

Mandarin-collared shirts and monotone patterns dominate the collection and light-weight linen jackets bring an elegant edge. This collection is sure to make any fashionista play peek-a-boo with the sun. One can go for crisp whites and pastel pinks, blues and corals.

Women can choose bright, tropical prints and crop tops paired with breezy palazzos, trendy shorts and bright prints on classic denims. The men can experiment with floral prints or keep it neutral with blues and khakhis.

“It is designed to capture the carnival festivities of the outdoors in summer. The ethnic wear exudes spunk and elegance. This season, the ethnic range draws inspiration from the rich Mayan, Mexican and Oriental civilisations to create a bold yet intricate look. It
redefines the contemporary chic as it features an assortment of techniques from asymmetrical colour blocking to exquisite juxtaposition of floral motifs against geometrical repeats and tribal embellishments,” says Srinivasa Rao, the Vice President of Marketing, Lifestyle Pvt Limited. He adds that as Lifestyle caters to a wide range of customers with varied fashion sensibilities and styles, a majority of their customers are between the age of 18 and 32. The accessories too are urban and chic and can be paired with Western and ethnic wear.

Bags, denims, ballerina shoes, gladiator flats, wedges and digital prints are some of the favourites. Chunky neckpieces and earrings with tribal or Aztec influences, reflecting an ethnic fusion vibe, are very popular and these accessories have recently been launched by the in-house brand Melange. The Lifestyle sale upto 50% is on for a month.
