Cosy and comfortable, highly decorated with unique masterpieces and a great time away from the chaos on the streets is just how ‘D’hide Cafe’ likes to be known as. Designed to bring out the Western cafe feel, this place takes one away on a hidden flavourful trail across Europe.

Located in Koramangala, the cafe has about eight tables, with a maximum capacity of six people at each. One can smell the aroma of freshly ground coffee on walking in and are transported to another world. While they don’t have a lavish menu, they serve some of the best dishes in the City. Their most popular dishes include ‘Amritsar fish and chips’, ‘Jamaican jerk grilled chicken’ and ‘aglio olio pasta’, along with beverages like ‘blue curaco mojito’, ‘strawberry smoothie’ and ‘caramel frappe’. They also serve popular breakfast items like pancakes and waffles to spread bright mornings.

The main attraction of the cafe are the shelves they’ve placed on one side of the entrance. Each shelf includes miniature designs like a drawer, flower pots, mini-cupboards, a table fan, suitcase and much more, with a bird cage as a center piece. They also have paintings of travel destinations in Europe.

Sophia John, a guest at the restaurant shares, “I’m glad I decided to stop by this place and try it out. Everything from the ambience to the food is very nice. I want to come back here to try more dishes; and I’m definitely bringing my friends along as well!”

Although it seems like a small place that has it all, one needs to go into the neighbouring ‘Tim Tai’ restaurant to use the washroom. Nonetheless, they sure sway away this problem with the generous hospitality and the piping hot coffee and tea with four varieties of cookies to go with it.
