Even as the sensational murder case of Sheena Bora took twists and turns, teachers in Disneyland High School where she studied for 10 years remember her as “good and decent student”.

The school, however, does not have any records of Sheena’s admission since few years ago flood waters entered the record room of the school and all old records were destroyed.

But, Sheena’s face remains vivid in the memory of her teachers. “She was very pretty as a kid, smart and bright. I knew her from class 1.  I still remember her cute face. I wonder how a mother can kill her own child. It’s a shame on humanity. I am shocked,” said Kalpana Dasgupta, who taught Sheena in the primary section.

Trouble with mother

Sheena’s friends also said that she told them about the trouble with her mother. “We never remember seeing her parent. Her grandparents used to come and drop her and pick up her from school,” said Sheena’s classmate Palbon Buragohain.

Disneyland High School remembers her to be very active in co-curricular activities including sports. For a girl, she was sports loving, said the school peon. “We have heard that there was trouble within their family. She never spoke much about her mother,” said Indrajit Bharadwaj, another classmate.

“Sheena was a lovely child. She never lagged behind in taking part in any activities. I was her Maths teacher during class 9-10. She was a talented student,” P Mishra told Deccan Herald, while trying to find any previous records of Sheena.

The school also observed a silent prayer and condolence meeting in the memory of its cheerful student while demanding speedy justice for Sheena.
