Lage Raho Munnabhai

Hey Ram

The film is a fictitious story about Saketh Ram, a disillusioned man who tries to kill Gandhi as he holds him responsible for the friction between Hindus and Muslims that led to the Partition.

Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara

Jahnu Barua’s film presents Gandhi as a concept that is lost on Indians today. It revolves around the India after Gandhi and the failure to live up to his dreams.

Gandhi, My Father

The film is based upon the biography of Harilal Gandhi, son of Mahatma Gandhi. It describes the failure of Gandhi as a father, and the plight of Harilal, overpowered by the burden of being his son.

Gour Hari Dastaan

The film illustrates, through a fictionalised account, the real struggle of a Gandhian named Gour Hari Das who still believes in, lives by and practices the teachings and ideology of Gandhi.
