Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday launched a fresh attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking him to “stop being stubborn” and hand over  Delhi Police and Anti-Corruption Branch to AAP government.

His Aam Aadmi Party accused Police Commissioner B S Bassi of running the force on the instructions of the Bharatiya Janata Party and eyeing a post-retirement job.

Citing a recent survey, which termed Delhi Police as the most corrupt of all the public services in the city, Kejriwal tweeted that “shocking
findings” raise doubts about Modi ji’s capabilities and intentions”.

“Modi ji, stop being stubborn now and work with us. Handover Delhi Police and ACB to the AAP government. We will set things right in one year and show you,” he tweeted.
“Shocking findings CMS survey 2day-Del police (under Modiji n his LG) most corrupt- scathing attack on Modiji's capbilities n intentions.”

The AAP government can bring down corruption by its sheer will and administrative acumen, Kejriwal said.

“Second finding-corruption has come down in delhi govt -it proves AAP govt’s neeyat n admn capability,” he tweeted.

Even his party colleagues didn’t relent from launching a salvo at Bassi.
“Is he thinking about the gains post-retirement?” asked Delhi AAP chief Dilip Pandey.
“It seems that Bassi-ji has put all his responsibilities at stake to run the security agency on BJP’s instructions,” he added.

“BS Bassi reports to PM Modi and Rajnath Singh. Why are they not acting? They should sack him,” AAP leader Raghav Chadha said.

The Aam Aadmi Party later released a statement saying that Bassi was acting like a spokesperson of a “frontal outfit” of BJP government at the Centre.

CMS-India Corruption Study (CMS-ICS) had surveyed nine districts of Delhi.
