BJP put posters of Kejri-Lalu hug

BJP on Monday put up posters in Delhi criticising Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for embracing Lalu Prasad at Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s swearing-in ceremony in Patna.

A BJP poster outside Kejriwal’s Civil Lines residence said: He was with Anna Hazare until a while back, but now he has joined hands with Lalu Yadav.

Delhi BJP workers also launched a protest outside Delhi Secretariat over the controversial embrace.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh denied bonhomie between the two leaders.
He instead launched an attack on the RJD leader and said, “Lalu Yadav contested elections on the issue of reservation, and after winning he gave reservation to his two sons.”

Singh defence came hours before Kejriwal on Monday clarified that he did not intend to embrace Yadav. He said that it was Lalu Prasad Yadav who had hugged him.

Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken tried to corner both AAP and BJP over this issue. “Kejriwal reaction on #KejriLaluEmbrace & BJP demonstration is reflective of a new low- Both believe only in symbolism and not deliverance,” Maken said on Twitter.

“BJP demonstrating now. Ok- But y were dey sleeping wen Kejriwal embraced #FakeDegreeTomar during his stunt lecture 2 AAP MLAs on corruption?” he tweeted.
