Techie robbed at knifepoint

Three unidentified men threatened a techie and robbed him of his valuables in HSR Layout police limits on Friday. 

The incident took place around 6.30 am at Kasavanahalli when 29-year-old Sriram, a resident of KPC Layout in HSR Layout, had gone to fetch milk from a nearby parlour, said the police.

The suspects accosted him while he was returning home, nd threatened him at knifepoint and robbed him of his cellphone, a gold chain, a wrist watch and some cash.  They fled on two bikes after pushing him to the ground. A few passersby rushed to Sriram’s rescue after he raised an alarm.

The police have registered a case and have launched a search operation to arrest the suspects.
