Sony Singh of MEG-A clocked 46.28 seconds to clinch the title in the Canoeing singles category over 200 metres in the first Bangalore Regatta held at the Trishna Club, Ulsoor lake here on Saturday.
W Amutombi Singh of BEG Roorkee, in a time of 47.00, came second while Nishanta Singh (48.36) of ARTY finished third in the finals.
Meanwhile, P Prasad (41.06) of ARTY claimed the top honours in the finals of the 200 metres Kayaking singles. MEG-A’s G Venkatesh (42.01) and Ajit Singh (43.13) of BEG Roorkee finished second and third respectively.
