Chetan scores century in IndiaBulls' victory

 Chetan smashed a century as IndiaBulls Housing Finance Limited eked out a narrow two-run win over KPTCL Sports Club in the KSCA Group II, Division II cricket tournament here.

Batting first, IndiaBulls rode on Chetan’s 103 to put up a decent total of 248 for the loss of eight wickets in 30 overs. Bharat (3/45) claimed three wickets for KPTCL.

In response, KPTCL SC batted well but were restricted to 246 for six in 30 overs, falling short of two runs in their chase. Lakshdeep scored 73 and Manjunath hit 69 not out. Rajshekhar (42) and Raghu 36) also made useful contributions in a chase that went till the distance.

In another match, Abhishek Reddy scalped four wickets as  BEL Sports Club recorded a close 13-run victory over Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagar Palike.

Riding on Vinay Sagar and Samith’s efforts of 43 and 42 runs respectively BEL SC made 249/6 in 30 overs.  In reply BBMP were all out for 116 in 25.5 overs
