Skoda Auto India aims double digit growth this year

 After growing four per cent last year, Skoda Auto India, the Indian arm of Czech auto company Skoda, is looking at double digit volume growth, this year.

“The past two years have been of consolidation for the company. Last year, our volumes grew four per cent without any new products, and this year, we are targeting a double digit growth,” Skoda Auto India chairman and managing director Sudhir Rao said.

The company is planning two to three launches every fiscal, and would like to bring the new Skoda design language to its new cars, Rao added. Skoda India sold 15,800 units in 2015.
Meanwhile, Skoda Auto India has launched the third generation of its flagship model, SKODA Superb at Rs 22.68 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), in four colours.
