India’s Asian champion in the 800 metres, Tintu Luka, finished fourth in the British Milers Club Grand Prix 2016 at Watford, England, on Saturday.
Tintu, who has already qualified for the Rio Olympic Games, timed 2:02.79.
In a race featuring mainly British runners, Adelle Tracey (2:01.24) and Alexandra Bell (2:01.32) claimed gold and silver while former world bronze medallist Jenny Meadows was third in 2:01.39.
Meanwhile, Neeraj Chopra won the javelin silver at a meet in Putbosstadion, Belgium, with an effort of 75.52M while the top position was bagged by Dutchman Mart Berge Ten with 77.43 metres.
In the women’s event, Annu Rani bagged the gold with an effort of 54.61 metres.
