Rain continued to lash several parts of the state on Friday.
It rained heavily for more than an hour towards evening in Hosapete. Movement of vehicles was affected for a while as the roads were waterlogged.
Moderate to heavy rains lashed Shivamogga district.
Shivamogga, Hosanagar, Sagar received good spell of rains throughout the day. Bhadravathi, Shivamogga, Shikaripur and Sorab also received moderate rains. There were no reports of any casualty.
Dakshina Kannada district experienced moderate rainfall. Mangaluru and surrounding areas experienced rainfall throughout the day.
In the last 24 hours, Dakshina Kannada district has recorded 45.3 mm rainfall.

Uttara Kannada district too received widespread rains on Friday. There were reports of rains from Karwar, Honnavar, Bhatkal, Kumta and Ankola.
