Centuries from Mashooq Hussain (103) and Sharath Srinivas (103 n.o.) helped Bangalore City XI earn three points from their drawn encounter against Mofussil XI of the KSCA under-23 SA Srinivasan cricket tournament here.
Mofussil batted first and were bundled out for 158 in 58.1 overs. In reply, Bangalore City then rode on Mashooq’s 103 and Sharath’s unbeaten 103 to post a massive score of 363 for the loss of four wickets in 90 overs, ensuring a lead of 205 runs in the process.
In their second essay, Mofussil scored 82 for the loss of two wickets in 23 overs. Based on the first innings lead Bangalore City bagged the three points.
