Banish those dark circles with ease

Are you tired of shelling out big bucks on concealers and under-eye creams to get rid of dark circles and yet see no visible effects? Fret not, for the best way to battle those unseemly occurrences can be found in your home. Yes, your basic kitchen ingredients can help prevent dark circles. 

 Tomatoes: This mildly acidic vegetable acts as an effective skin lightening agent and is one of the best natural remedies to cure dark circles. A mix of tomato juice and lemon juice can work wonders if applied under the eyes regularly. Allow it to remain for 10 minutes and wash it off with water.

 Potatoes: Raw grated potatoes or raw potatoes sliced and kept over closed eyes are an effective solution for dark circles. Close your eyes and place the potatoes for 15-20 minutes and wash off with cold water to lighten dark circles.

Cucumbers: One of the best kitchen ingredients that can easily cure under-eye circles are chilled cucumber slices. Cut the cucumber into thick slices and place these slices on your eyes for 10-15 minutes. They not only lighten the sensitive skin but also soothe your eyes after all the time spent in front of the computer.

Tea bags: After you’re done sipping your herbal tea, don’t throw away the tea bags. Chill them in the refrigerator and use them to get rid of dark circles. Chamomile tea bags are the most effective.

De-stress: With your daily hectic schedules, stress and depression can be the common causes for the recurrence of under-eye circles. Practise yoga and meditation regularly to
reduce those dark circles. Not to forget, yoga also helps keep your body and mind calm.
