Aparna Sen a hard taskmaster, but I bonded with her : Raima

"Initially I was very scared of Aparna Sen because I heard that she was a tough taskmaster. There were times when she screamed at me for not getting a scene right, but I bonded with her," Raima, the granddaughter of legendary actress Suchitra Sen, said.
"There were times when she would end up calling me Konkona instead of Raima," Raima said of Sen, a winner of three National Awards.

Konkona is Aparna Sen's actress daughter.
"She treated me like her daughter. Every evening after shoots we would go for long walks," Raima, who plays a young widow in the film, said.
Releasing on April 9, 'The Japanese Wife', would mark the return of the critically acclaimed pair of Rahul Bose and Aparna Sen.

The bilingual movie, shot in English and Hindi also stars yesteryears actress Moushumi Chatterjee.
'The Japanese Wife' is the story of a young village school teacher played by Rahul, who never meets but 'marries' a young Japanese girl through an exchange of letters.
