Techie commits suicide in her flat in Kodigehalli

A 25-year-old software engineer was found hanging in her flat in a private apartment in Tindlu, Kodigehalli on Friday night.

The police have identified the deceased as Tejaswini, a software engineer with  a private company. Around eight months ago, she married Yadusudhan, also a software engineer.

Two months ago, Yadusudhan lost his job. He was searching for a new job in the city. On Friday night, when Tejaswini was alone in the home, she committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling. The incident came to light when Yadusudhan returned home.

He informed her parents and the Kodigehalli police who visited the house and shifted her body to MS Ramaiah hospital for post-mortem, said the police.

The reason for the suicide is yet to be investigated as there was no death note found.

Tejaswini’s parents claimed that she was being harassed by her husband. Her parents told the police that Yadusudhan was pestering her for money as he was unemployed. But no complaint has been registered.

For now, a case of unnatural death has been registered, added the police.
