The Congress on Sunday accused the Modi government of being the “weakest ever” when it came to dealing with matters of national security, particularly Pakistan.
The sharp attack by Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari was reminiscent of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s barbs at the then UPA government when Pakistani troops had beheaded Indian soldiers along the Line of Control in January 2013. The Congress wondered whether Modi was contesting the next elections from Pakistan.
