Mahadevappa says friend gifted him Hublot watch

 Public Works minister Dr H C Mahadevappa said on Saturday that his friend Chandra Verma (Dr Girish Chandra Verma) had gifted him the Hublot watch.

Activist T J Abraham had filed a private complaint before the Lokayukta special court in Bengaluru on Friday, regarding the Hublot watches worth Rs 45 lakh each, presented to the minister and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Speaking to reporters here, Mahadevappa described the complaint as politically motivated and said it was baseless.
