Brilliant all-round shows from Pradeep and Ram Patil gave Engrades Cricket Club a record 372-run win over Kengeri Cricketers in the KSCA Group I, Division IV league cum knockout tournament for the Metro Shield here.
Batting first, Engrades compiled a massive 489 for eight in 50 overs, which is the highest score in fourth division, with Pradeep (188) and Patil (155) doing the bulk of the scoring. Manjunath also chipped in with a handy innings of 56.
Chasing at close to 10 runs an over was never going to be easy for Kengeri and they crumbled for 117 all out in 28.3 overs.
It was the duo of Pradeep (3/22) and Patil (2/8) who chipped in with wickets as well to help their side notch a thumping victory.
