A cold war brewing

It seems that a new cold war is brewing in B-Town between two big shots of the industry.

There are reports that these days all is not well between actor Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. Both have been signed for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming ‘Padmavati’.

If sources are to believed, Ranveer is not happy with Shahid being cast as his rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone’s on-screen husband Rana Rawal Ratan Singh, while he will be playing the antagonistic Allaudin Khilji in the period drama.

 However, there are talks that both Kapoor and Singh are tussling for a bigger role in the movie and Deepika was keen on casting Shahid for the role.

Meanwhile, both stars denied to discuss the matter over a dinner party at Bhansali’s house.

 The shoot of the movie is expected to be kick-started by Deepika from November 5, who charged a handsome fees of 12.62 crore for the project. ‘Padmavati’ is scheduled to release on November 17, next year.
