A colourful edition of the ‘Sunday Soul Sante’ was held at the ITPB Cricket Grounds, Whitefield.

From interior decor to jewellery, interesting knick-knacks from bookmarks to mini frames, the ‘sante’ was a great one-stop-solution to the coming festival season’s needs. The ‘sante’ included a number of stalls with something for everyone. Apart from interesting small items in different mediums, the ‘sante’ also included live acts by ‘White Sugar’ and a series of standup acts by ‘Barking Mad’.

The stall owners have been looking forward to the event and are excited about this platform.
Meghna Gowda, proprietor of ‘Levitate India’, showcased festival jewellery and other colourful items, which work best in prepping up one’s wardrobe and home. “We have jewellery in silver, brass and semi-precious stones. From pretty anklets to chandelier earrings, we have statement pieces for all occasions,” she vouched. Meghna adds that the jewellery is meant to recreate the antique look that “one’s grandmother’s jewellery had”. She adds that from unique colourful footwear to striking bags, one can find the brightest colours in every fashion addition here. “We also have some interesting lamps — metal and cut-work, which work best for the season,” she said.

The event displayed a variety of handicrafts and Bengalureans were spoilt with choices in apparel, natural detergents and others. Visitors also found the place very exciting and a hub of activities. Julia, an expatriate from Sweden, says that she was pleasantly surprised by the variety the space offered. “We have a variety of carnivals back home too, which have similar arrangements. But this space looks like a lot of fun with all the colourful items like clothing and artifacts,” she said. Julia says that the atmosphere of the ‘sante’ is vibrant which makes one want to spend more time there, including in the inviting food spread. The event also saw brands like the ‘Pickle Project’, ‘Glow Lanterns’, ‘Posh Nosh’ among other stalls.
