In January 2015, when Abdul Saleem — a digital marketing services proffesional with 17 years of experience in various companies like HP, Infosys, Symphony, Target and Nokia, and Sumit Thakur — an IT services and project management professional with 16 years of experience, set up Nummero, they would not have probably known that it would be an international company in its second year of operations.

Nummero is an end-to-end digital marketing firm which provides various services to clients, like web design and development, digital marketing and branding, among others. “We provide solutions to brands or individuals in their digital strategy, wherein we build websites or do digital marketing, so that they get traffic on their website and improve sales and conversation,” says Abdul Saleem, CEO of Nummero.

On coming up with the idea, Saleem says, “As my co-founder and I have experience in more than 15 years in IT services and digital marketing and we understand the impact of digital marketing, and how it will change the entire game of marketing in the near future. Although there are multiple players in our domain, there are very few who can provide the solution which is focused.”

The company has set up a branch office in Sydney, and sales offices in the US, Thailand, and the Philippines. “Besides, offering various services, we are going to launch multiple products related to digital,” says Saleem.

The company recently launched a marketplace for content called www.66content.com, wherein customers can crowd-source or outsource all their content-related projects.

“66content.com is a platform which connects various customers with freelance writers across the globe in minutes. Along with this product, we are working on two more products which will go live and become result-oriented like us,” adds Saleem, whose startup has over 20 employees and more than 40 consultants working with them. “There is major competition in our domain, but our USP is that we provide focused and result-oriented solutions with our digital marketing strategies or user experience solution so that sales of our clients increase by many folds,” Saleem goes on to say on competition.
The services of the company are broadly categorised into Digital, Technology, and Business Services, with various sub-categories, with clients ranging from Amazon, Nokia and Manipal Institutions, among others. For now, the company follows a bootstrap startup model, with investment from co-founders amounting close to Rs 50 lakh. “We do have plans to raise funds in January 2017,” adds Saleem.
