All-round Ninan shines for Friends XI CC

 Ryan Ninan’s all-round show spurred Friends XI Cricket Club to a nervy two-wicket victory over Vikram Cricket Club in the KSCA Group I, Division IV league cum knockout cricket tournament for the Metro Shield here.

A good bowling show from Ninan (2/44), Manish (3/43) and Mohit K (2/45) restricted Vikram CC to a modest 230 all out in 49.5 overs. Suresh CS top scored with 75, while Manoj Thapa added 45.

In response, thanks to a patient knock of 106 from 120 balls from Ninan, Friends overhauled the total in 48.2 overs losing eight wickets.
