A chanceless knock of 109 not out from Chandana Deshapriya gave Sri Lanka an emphatic nine-wicket victory over South Africa in the T20 World Cup cricket for the blind at Alur Grounds here on Thursday.

The win left Sri Lanka third in the standings and the islanders will face hosts India in the first semifinal at Hyderabad on Friday. The other semi will feature England against Pakistan here on Saturday.

England sealed the final semis berth after a superb chase saw them beat the West Indies by six wickets and leapfrog Bangladesh into fourth.

Dennal Deboya Shim scored 106 to help West Indies reach 232 for four but solid knocks from James Hossell (64) and Peter Blueitt (74 not out) ensured the Englishmen crossed the line with four balls to spare.
