The film will be screened daily in the National WW II Museum, New Orleans, Louisiana, later this year, The Hollywood reporter said."This film uses a whole world of technologies, including an incredible sound system, multi layered projection, high definition, moving sets, 3-D features and more spectacular theatrical effects," said Phil Hettema, creative director of the film.Hettema said that Hanks has been involved throughout the process as he is well read about the subject.

"He has a very deep knowledge of World War II. He knows more than some of those who work at the museum, He's been excitedly and graciously involved, and has an important honorary roll in the making of this film," Hettema said.

Hanks is scheduled to be at the formal opening of the film at Victory Theatre.Hettema said that his goal was to present the epic story of World War II in an exciting and emotional way especially to the younger generation."Our task was to give them context, to have them say, 'I had no idea these things happened,' and be excited to see the rest of the museum," Hettema said.
