Delay in project irks George

Bengaluru Development Minister K J George pulled up engineers working on the Okalipuram eight-lane corridor on Monday for delaying the project.

The minister and Mayor G Padmavathi inspected various infrastructure projects in the city. At Okalipuram eight-lane corridor, Gandhinagar MLA Dinesh Gundu Rao and Rajajinagar MLA S Suresh Kumar complained that the contractor was delaying the work.

The minister warned the contractor and the officers to speed up the work. The delay in the four grade separators along Chord Road drew the minister’s ire.
