Residents of Byatarayanapura Assembly constituency will get to raise their civic problems at ‘Janaspandana – Citizens for Change’ being organised by DH and its sister publication Prajavani on April 22.

The event will be held at the open auditorium at 20th cross, Sahakaranagar (behind Balamuri Ganapathi Temple), from 10 am onwards. Local MLA and Minister for Agriculture Krishna Byre Gowda, corporators of wards under the Byatarayanapura Assembly constituency and officials of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB), Bescom and police will listen to the civic grievances and address them instantly.

The programme is part of an initiative of DH and Prajavani to connect with Bengalureans and help address their civic problems from waste disposal to streetlights, stray dog menace to roads, water supply to sewerage, electricity to healthcare, public transport to footpaths, parks to playgrounds, and traffic and law and order. Similar events organised in different parts of the city have helped address civic-related issues.

People can reach the venue by 9 am and register at the temporary reception. They can send their grievances to janaspandana@printersmysore.co.in or call 9035562020 between 9 am and 5 pm.
