A 27-year-old man has been arrested for outraging the modesty of a married woman in Adugodi on Monday. The suspect Rajesh is a resident of Lakkasandra.
He would often stand in poorly-lit areas and tease women. The victim, who could no more tolerate his act, approached the police and lodged a complaint.
“Based on her leads, the police picked him up from the hotel and interrogated. He confessed to the crime during the interrogation,” a police officer said.
The police clarified that Rajesh has no history of crime.
He has been booked under IPC 354 (outraging modesty of a woman).
