Rap with a classical twist

V Brodha, considered to be one of India’s best rappers and producers, will perform on July 29, 9 pm, at The Humming Tree.

He has won multiple awards and nominations for his singles like ‘Aathma Raama’, ‘Aigiri Nandini’, ‘Round Round’ and ‘Indian Flava’. He is known for his unique style of blending rap music with Indian classical and folk genres.

Known for his lyricism and catchy hooks, he has carved a niche for himself in the Indian hiphop scene and stands as one of the most loved and popular rappers in the country.

Brodha has also worked in multiple Bollywood and South Indian movies and has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry worldwide. His popular film works include ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge’ and ‘Kaaki Sattai’, where he worked with the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Vishal and Shekhar, Anirudh Ravichander and Benny Dayal to name a few.
