Bantwal police hand over the CD of the violence to the court

The Bantwal police on Wednesday handed over a CD of the video footage of the communal clash that occurred during the funeral procession of RSS worker Sharath Madiwala to the High Court of Karnataka.

Justice Aravind Kumar said that he will watch the video in his chamber and then hear the matter on Thursday.

Five persons, who have been accused of creating havoc when the prohibitory orders were in force following the death of RSS worker Sharath during communal riots in Bantwal in Dakshina Kannada district, have moved the court.
