Government officials today sealed an unlicensed skin bank and a dubious abortion clinic located inside the Dera Sacha Sauda sprawling 750-acres complex in Sirsa in Haryana, sources said.

The three-day search operation came to an end on Sunday. The entire operation has been video-graphed.

A retired district and sessions Judge who was assigned the task to monitor the search operation will now submit a final report on the seizures before the Punjab and Haryana High Court in Chandigarh. Mobile internet that remained suspended for the last three days has now resumed.

Satish Mehra, the deputy director of the public relations department in Sirsa said, dead bodies were “donated” at the Sect and were given to the different hospital.

Sources said no legitimate record was maintained. The heath department is probing the case of cadaver donations at the Dera. Certain rooms inside the sect have been sealed.

Tight security will remain in place around the sect. There was over 5000 security personnel deployed around the area to prevent an untoward incident.

On Saturday a window-like route from the Dera chief’s room that led straight to the hostel where women disciples would stay was discovered. It was connected by a fibre-tunnel to the other side.

So far the seizures from the Dera include an empty box meant for cartridges of AK-47 assault rifle, an unauthorized factory where explosive material was used as raw material, over 80 boxes of firecrackers, illegal plastic currency, animals, hundreds of batons, designer dresses, hundreds of shoes, hard discs, pen drive and cash.

There are also reports that suggest that computers and certain documents were found burnt within the sect in an attempt to destroy evidence. The search operation was launched nearly two weeks after the CBI court convicted the Dera chief.

Forensic experts, revenue, bank officials, bomb disposal and dog squads were engaged in the search operation. Gurmeet Singh has been sentenced to 20-years of rigorous imprisonment by a CBI court for the rape of two women.
