Sagar lifts Holy Angel's

Sagar B produced a fine all-round performance to set up Holy Angel’s High School’s 51-run victory over Sri Vani Education Centre in the under-16 KSCA Group I, Division III inter-school tournament here.

Wet outfield resulted in a delayed start and the tie was reduced to 44-overs-per-side affair. Sagar slammed unbeaten 100 while Prajwal R struck 60 to help Holy Angel register 232 for two.

In response, Sri Vani Education batsmen came a cropper and were bundled out for 181 in 31.3 overs.

Uday Narayan L was the most successful bowler with figures of four for 41 while Sagar (2/17) and Prashanth (2/20) chipped in with two wickets apiece.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya: 191 all out in 44.1 overs (Manish 36, Chetan 25; Nazid 3-35, Jatin 3-38) bt Vagdevi Vilas School: 68 all out in 17.4 overs (Amith 2-6, Abhiroop 3-22, Manish 2-7, Bharath 2-18).

Golden City School, Kolar: 106 all out in 35.4 overs (Harshal A 61 n.o.; Sankarsh R 2-10, Tejus 3-16, Akash RN 2-23, Yathin R 2-29) lt to BP Indian Public School, B – 3: 107/4 in 22 overs (Harshal A 2-31).

AC School: 225 all out in 42 overs (Preetham V 71, Reynesh 38, Vedanth 38; Sachin 2-56, Rohith 2-29) bt Holy Child English High School: 44 all out in 19.1 overs (Vedanth 3-11, Preetham 3-18, Vamshi 3-15).
