The High Court of Karnataka on Friday found discrepancies in the investigation in the murder case against serial killer “cyanide” Mallika, and remanded the matter to trial court.
Mallika has been sentenced to death and is now lodged at Parappana Agrahara Central prison.
A division bench comprising Justices Ravi Malimath and John Michael Cunha found that doctor who conducted postmortem on one of Mallika’s victims had not been cross examined in the trial court.
The bench set aside the order of the lower court.
