The Department of Higher Education has directed the Davangere University to cancel recruitment tests for teaching and non-teaching posts scheduled to be held on Thursday and Friday following complaints that the question papers had been leaked. The university had announced written tests for the posts of assistant professor, associate professor, professor, helper, assistant librarian, office superintendent and other posts. The university’s website flashed a message that the tests had been postponed and that new dates would be announced soon.
