Cancer patient's wish to meet her 'hero' gets #SRKmeetAruna trending

Cancer is one of the few things most people wouldn't wish on anyone. The condition is harrowing, and many people know all too well the pain of losing someone they know to it.

However, some people are just too stubborn to let go of hope even when they are afflicted with cancer and probably have little time left. One such person is Aruna PK, a lady who became popular around July with a series of tweets on why she loves people of all states.

Today, she is lying in a hospital bed, suffering from cancer, but her smile does not look even slightly bothered by it all. Perhaps her admiration for Shah Rukh Khan is to be credited for it, for that appears to be her wish, one that has now gone viral on the internet as the days come to a close.

It all started with a tweet, from March, which was dug out by some users for all to see, in which Aruna describes SRK as a source of strength that he doesn't even know he is.

Today, Twitterati have turned #SRKMeetsAruna into a trending topic, with hundreds of tweets calling the actor to go meet Aruna, probably before it's too late to do so for both of them.

It all started with a simple sketch of SRK with Aruna, which has created this brewing storm of support for the cancer-battling, smiling lady.

One user even changed their name to #SRKMeetsAruna to drive the point home!
