Actor Raghu Mukherjee has worked very hard to look every bit like his character of an IT professional in the just released, ‘Dayavittu Gamanisi’. There are four stories in this project and every story has a different feel to it. Raghu is paired with Bhavana Rao.

The challenges and work pressure of those in the IT sector have been portrayed well here. The language too has been tweaked to suit the present generation. In an interview with Nina C George, Raghu talks about his role and the making of the movie.

How was it to play an IT professional?
Every second person today is an IT professional and I am sure the youngsters will connect to the story. It throws light on the problems and concerns of every working professional. It’s a story that happens in every household.

The language has been used in a very interesting manner. Tell us about it. The language is such that everybody, irrespective of age and gender, will be able to identify with. We haven’t tried to dramatise any of the scenes. The dialogues are very situational.

On working with Rohit Padki...
Rohit and I would spend hours debating and discussing all the scenes. The actors had the liberty to share their views and constructive criticism was more than welcome on the sets. There are scenes where we haven’t used any dialogues but spoke through our expressions. This experiment has come out well.

Did you feel out of place in the multistarrer?
There are four stories running simultaneously and none of them cross each other at any time. Every actor in this movie has a definite role to play. So there’s really no need to feel insecure or left out. We are all trying to tell stories that are happening around us.

How do you maintain consistency in all your projects?
I work on only those projects that offer me something substantial. I must have something challenging to work with and must be able to make a difference to the script.
