Three arrested For Creating Ruckus

The city police have arrested three men who not only indulged in creating nuisance, but also roughed up policemen who went to question them in Mahalakshmi Layout on Sunday.

The arrested have been identified as Govindaraju, Suresh and Chandru who were drunk during the time they created nuisance at a residential area in Someshwaranagar in Mahalakshmi Layout.

According to police, the trio who were in inebriated state created ruckus during Rajyotsava celebrations where lot of residents had gathered in the area. The residents called the police. The police rushed to the spot and questioned the trio.

The trio then indulged in heated arguments with the police and even roughed them when they told to get into the police jeep to go to the station.

Later, the police took a written complaint from the residents and arrested the three booking them under IPC section 504- intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, 332- voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty, and assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty.
