Flyover at Delmia junction likely to open next month

The flyover at  Delmia junction in South Bengaluru's  JP Nagar is likely to open by January 2018.  

Speaking to DH, BBMP Chief Executive Engineer K T Nagaraj said 80% of the work was complete and the flyover would be ready by the end of next month.  

Delmia junction is one of the five intersections that  need intervention to build the signal-free corridor between  Mysuru Road and Central Silk Board junction via Bannerghatta Road.  A flyover at KEB junction in Hosakerehalli was opened recently.  

An underpass at Dr Muthuraj junction on the Outer Ring Road in Banashankari 3rd Stage is expected to open in September 2018, the official added.  

The corridor is being built under the Nagarothana scheme.
