MIT diamond jubilee valedictory on Dec 17

The valedictory of diamond jubilee celebrations of Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) and alumni meet will be held on December 17 at 10.30 am, said Director Dr G K Prabhu.

Speaking to reporters, he said that Karnataka Government's Technical Expert Committee Head M M Kamath will inaugurate the programme. MAHE Registrar Dr Narayana Sabahith will preside over the programme. 'Golden meet' will be organised on December 15 for graduates who graduated 50 years ago from the institute. Silver meet will be organised on December 16. The newly built women's hostel will be inaugurated by MIT's first female student Suguni Kamath.

Alumni of the institute Suguni Kamath, K K Krishnamurthy, G Epan will be felicitated on the occasion.
